Social Capital Hedosophia Holdings Corp. II
A special-purpose acquisition company, or "blank check" company, formed to take a private tech firm public. Created in 2019 by venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya and London's Hedosophia, it raised money from investors and merged with Opendoor, the home-selling platform that buys houses online and lets sellers skip agents, staging, and open houses. After the deal closed in 2020, the company was renamed Opendoor Technologies and traded on the Nasdaq under the ticker OPEN — one of a string of Palihapitiya SPACs that earned him the nickname "SPAC King."
Class A Ordinary Shares — Delisted: merged with Opendoor Labs Inc. on Dec 18, 2020, became Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN)
