Dassault Systemes SE
A French software company whose 3D design and simulation tools shape everything from jetliners to sneakers, Dassault Systemes builds the CATIA, SolidWorks and 3DEXPERIENCE programs used by engineers and manufacturers worldwide. It was spun out of Dassault Aviation in 1981, when engineers turned the fighter jet maker's in-house design software into a standalone business. Fun fact: its CATIA software was famously used to design the Eurofighter and the Boeing 777 — the first airliner designed entirely on computers.
