Koninklijke Dsm NV
A maker of vitamins and nutritional ingredients for food, beverages, supplements, and animal feed, born in 1902 as the Dutch State Mines, a government-run coal mining company in Limburg. After its last mine closed, it adopted the acronym DSM in 1973 and transformed into a global nutrition and health firm, later merging with Swiss fragrance house Firmenich.
