Bertrandt AG

An engineering services firm that helps automakers and suppliers design and develop vehicles, from early concepts to production, and also works in aerospace, medical technology, and energy. It began in 1974 as a one-man engineering office run from founder Harry Bertrandt's apartment study in Germany, and the company still bears his name. During its 1980s expansion into France, staff jokingly called their internal office language "Fradenglish" — a blend of English, French, and German.
