An Israeli automotive technology company building modular electric-vehicle platforms for commercial fleets. Its signature REEcorner packs steering, braking, suspension, and the motor into each wheel arch, leaving a flat, open "skateboard" chassis (the REEboard) that manufacturers can shape into vans, trucks, or delivery vehicles. It started life in 2011 as SoftWheel, making suspension wheels for wheelchairs, before pivoting to EVs and renaming itself REE—a play on "reinventing the wheel."
