Veloryx Ltd
Veloryx is an Israeli industrial and homeland-security firm, formerly called Aquarius Engines, headquartered in Yakum. It began in 2014 developing a strikingly simple "linear" engine with a single moving part — a piston rod sliding back and forth instead of turning a crankshaft — designed to generate electricity and power electric-vehicle range extenders. In early 2025 it rebranded as Veloryx and shifted toward border-protection and security systems. Its original name came from the hit song "The Age of Aquarius," chosen by the founders to evoke a clean-energy future.
