United Online, Inc.
A provider of internet access and consumer services, best known for the NetZero and Juno brands. It came to be in 2001 when the free-internet rivals NetZero and Juno merged, briefly making it the second-largest internet service provider in the US behind AOL. The NetZero name blends "net" for internet and "zero" for the cost: early users got free dial-up in exchange for keeping an advertising bar on their screens.
