Gazprom Neft Pjsc
A vertically integrated Russian oil company that explores, produces, refines, and sells crude oil and petroleum products, with its own filling-station network. It began in 1995 as Sibneft, and in 2005 the state gas giant Gazprom bought a controlling stake and renamed it Gazprom Neft. Its "Arctic Gates" terminal in the Gulf of Ob is the world's only freshwater oil terminal above the Polar Circle, built offshore because the gulf is too shallow for big tankers.
