A flower and gift delivery company that connects customers with local florists, letting you send same-day bouquets to loved ones in other cities. It began in 1910 when fifteen Rochester, New York florists formed a cooperative to exchange out-of-town orders by telegraph, and its name grew from "Florists' Telegraph Delivery" to "Florists' Transworld Delivery" as it went global. Its famous "Mercury Man" logo, adopted in 1914, honors the Roman god of speed and communication.
