Tilly'S, Inc.

A specialty retailer of apparel, footwear and accessories rooted in surf, skate and motocross culture, Tilly's outfits teens and young adults with brands like Vans, Billabong and Nike. It began in 1982 as a single store called "World of Jeans and Tops" in Los Alamitos, California, opened by Hezy Shaked, a former Israeli Navy officer. He later renamed it Tilly's in honor of his wife, Tilly Levine, and the chain grew to dozens of stores across the country.
