A Chinese online game developer and operator, best known for the massively multiplayer game ZT Online, which helped popularize the free-to-play model in China. Founder Shi Yuzhu, who had earlier built a fortune in health supplements, launched the company in 2004 and named it "Giant" after IBM's "Big Blue" nickname, hoping to match the tech giant's scale.
