Lumexa Imaging Holdings, Inc.

A provider of outpatient diagnostic imaging, Lumexa Imaging runs a network of hundreds of MRI, CT, PET, X-ray, ultrasound, and mammography centers across a dozen states. It was born in 2018 as US Radiology Specialists, a partnership between the physician-owned Charlotte Radiology practice and private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, and it rebranded as Lumexa in July 2025. The name blends "Lum-" for illumination and "-exa" for exceptional scale.
