Tango Therapeutics, Inc.
A clinical-stage biotechnology company developing precision cancer medicines, Tango Therapeutics uses a CRISPR-based platform to find genetic "weak spots" in tumor cells and build drugs that attack them. Founded in 2017 in the Boston area, the company takes its name from "synthetic lethality," a biological tango where two gene flaws together kill a cell, while either alone does not. Its lead drug candidate, vopimetostat, is being tested against pancreatic cancer.
