Burger King Worldwide Inc
A global fast-food chain best known for its flame-grilled burgers, the flagship Whopper, and its curly fries and chicken sandwiches, with restaurants across the world. It began as Insta-Burger King in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1953, then was bought and renamed by two Cornell alumni in Miami who introduced the Whopper in 1957. A fun quirk: the chain's burgers are literally passed through real flames on conveyor-belt broilers, which is where its signature "flame-grilled" taste comes from.
