Virtus Diversified Income & Convertible Fund
A closed-end investment fund that holds a blend of convertible securities, stocks, and income-producing bonds. Convertibles are hybrids of bonds and stock — they pay regular interest while still catching some of the upside when share prices rise. Launched in 2015 and run by Virtus, a Hartford-based asset manager, it trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker ACV and once carried the name "Virtus AllianzGI Diversified Income & Convertible Fund" before dropping the "AllianzGI" in 2022.
