Bridgetown Holdings Ltd
A special-purpose acquisition company, or "blank check company," that raised money on the Nasdaq to find and take public a fast-growing Southeast Asian business. It was created by Hong Kong billionaire Richard Li and Silicon Valley investor Peter Thiel, and it eventually merged with MoneyHero, a personal-finance comparison site serving consumers across Asia. The name "Bridgetown" was chosen to symbolize the "bridge" between Thiel's Western investing expertise and Li's Eastern business network — a nod to the partnership behind it.
Units, each consisting of one Class A ordinary share and one-third of one redeemable warrant — Merged with MoneyHero Limited (now MNY) in October 2023
