Tribune Publishing Company

A newspaper publisher behind some of America's best-known dailies, from the Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times to the Baltimore Sun and the Orlando Sentinel. It was born in 2014 when the old Tribune Company split in two, with the newspaper titles going to this new company while its TV stations went to Tribune Media; the paper's roots stretch back to 1847, when the Chicago Tribune was first printed. The famous call letters WGN, once used by the company's radio and TV stations, stood for "World's Greatest Newspaper," the Chicago Tribune's own slogan.
