I.d. Systems, Inc.
A maker of wireless systems that track and manage industrial vehicles like forklifts, airport ground-support equipment, and rental cars. Founded in 1993 by a Stanford engineering student and two colleagues, the company—later renamed PowerFleet—built its name around "I.D.," for the radio-frequency identification tech it pioneered. After buying Pointer Telocation in 2019, it rebranded to PowerFleet, a name its products were already sold under.
