Schultze Special Purpose Acquisition Corp.
A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a "blank check" firm with no operations of its own, created to raise money and later merge with a private business. Sponsored by investment firm Schultze Asset Management, led by George J. Schultze, it completed its deal in December 2020 by merging with Clever Leaves, a multinational cannabis operator, which then traded on Nasdaq under the ticker CLVR. The sponsor's follow-up SPAC never found a target and dissolved instead.
Units each consisting of one share of Class A common stock and one-half of one redeemable warrant — Merged with Clever Leaves Holdings Inc. December 2020; CLVR voluntarily delisted from Nasdaq May 2024
