Davidstea Inc.

A Canadian retailer of loose-leaf teas and tea accessories, DAVIDsTEA runs shops and an online store offering hundreds of tea blends, teapots, and mugs. It was founded in 2008 by cousins David Segal and Herschel Segal — who had earlier built the clothing chain Le Château — and named after David; the first store opened on Queen Street in Toronto. The brand set out to feel nothing like a stuffy old tea room, and its Red Velvet Cake blend won a shout-out from Oprah Winfrey in 2013.
