A maker of AI-powered pricing and revenue management software, PROS builds tools that airlines, travel companies, and other businesses use to set prices and forecast demand. Founded in 1985 in Houston by husband-and-wife team Mariette and Ron Woestemeyer, the company got its start solving an airline's overbooking crisis with forecasting algorithms. Its name originally stood for "Pricing and Revenue Optimization Solutions."
