Innophos Holdings, Inc.
A maker of specialty phosphates and mineral-based ingredients used in food and beverages, dietary supplements, and industrial products. The company was formed in 2004 when a private equity firm bought the North American phosphate business of the French chemical giant Rhodia, taking the name "Innophos" from "innovative specialty phosphates." Its operations trace back to Victor Chemical Works, founded in 1902.
