A maker of software that helps big companies manage customer conversations across social media, messaging, chat, email and voice all from one screen, with products like Sprinklr Social. It was founded in 2009 by tech executive Ragy Thomas, who started out running the servers from the basement of his home. The name comes from founder's belief that winning brands aren't the noisiest but those that "carefully water their plot of land" — the "e" dropped for a modern tech-style spelling.
