Mag Silver Corp

An explorer and developer of silver mines, based in Canada but working in Mexico. Its flagship is the Juanicipio mine in Zacatecas, a joint venture with Fresnillo that produces silver, gold, zinc and lead. It was founded in 1999 by exploration geologist Peter Megaw, who gave the company its name — "MAG" comes from his surname. Megaw and his partners discovered the high-grade vein that became Juanicipio in 2003.
