Pgt Innovations, Inc.

A maker of impact-resistant windows and doors, built for the hurricane-prone homes and businesses of coastal Florida and beyond. Its founders started in 1980 in Venice, Florida as Vinyl Tech, sketching their first product—a vinyl porch enclosure called Eze-Breeze—on a napkin, before branching into windows in 1987 and renaming the firm Progressive Glass Technology (hence "PGT"). The company now operates under the window-and-door group MITER Brands.
