Cm Life Sciences II Inc
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC — a "blank check" firm formed to raise money through an IPO and then merge with an existing private company to take it public. Backed by investment firms Casdin Capital and Corvex Management, CM Life Sciences II focused on the life sciences sector, including tools, synthetic biology, and diagnostics. In 2021 it merged with the proteomics company SomaLogic, which adopted the combined name and began trading on the Nasdaq.
