Mesa Air Group Inc
A regional airline flies Embraer 175 jets under the United Express brand, serving as United Airlines' regional partner. It began as Mesa Air Shuttle in Farmington, New Mexico, when founder Larry Risley and his wife Janie mortgaged their home and car to buy a five-seat single-engine Piper Saratoga for the Farmington-to-Albuquerque route. Its name honors the mesa beneath the local airport. In 2025 the company merged with Republic Airways.
