Glatfelter Corporation
A maker of specialty papers and engineered nonwoven materials, used in tea bags and single-serve coffee filters, hygiene products, and disposable medical gowns. The company traces back to 1864, when Philip Henry Glatfelter borrowed money to buy a run-down paper mill in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, and made his first paper from rye straw. In 2024 it merged with Berry Global's nonwovens and films business to form Magnera Corporation.
