Reed’s, Inc.

A maker of ginger-based drinks and candies, Reed's Inc. is best known for its real-fresh-ginger ginger beers and ales, along with the Virgil's line of craft sodas. Founder Chris Reed began brewing his ginger recipes at home in 1987, then hand-bottled them and delivered the bottles himself from his Volkswagen Bug while wearing a tie-dyed T-shirt. The company, renamed after its founder in 2001, still carries his name today.
