Consol Coal Resources LP
A master limited partnership that held and operated underground coal mines in Pennsylvania, including the Bailey, Enlow Fork, and Harvey longwall mines, and sold thermal coal to electric utilities for power generation. It was formed in 2015 by CONSOL Energy to own a stake in that mining complex, and was renamed from CNX Coal Resources LP in 2017 when its parent split its gas and coal businesses into separate companies. The "CONSOL" name comes from the Consolidation Coal Company, so called because it grew by literally consolidating many smaller coal operations.
