Dcp Midstream, LP
A builder of one of the largest natural gas processing networks in the United States, DCP Midstream gathered raw natural gas from wells and sorted it into refined ethane, propane, and butane used for stoves, petrochemicals, and fuels. Founded in 2000 as Duke Energy Field Services, a joint venture whose "DC" letters honored its parents Duke Energy and ConocoPhillips, it grew into one of the country's top gas processors with a vast pipeline network across U.S. basins before being folded into Phillips 66 in 2023.
