Sprott Physical Silver Trust

A closed-end investment that holds physical silver bullion in storage so everyday investors can own the metal without the hassle of handling or moving it. The silver sits in vaults at the Royal Canadian Mint, and the trust was created in 2010 by Sprott, the Toronto asset manager founded by investor Eric Sprott. A quirk: unitholders who hold enough units can redeem them for real silver bars delivered to them.
