Aep Industries Inc.
A maker of flexible plastic packaging films, AEP Industries produced thousands of different films used to wrap food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and auto parts. It was founded in 1970 by Brendan Barba and his uncle David J. McFarland, who opened their first factory in Moonachie, New Jersey, in 1973 and later doubled the company's size by absorbing the packaging division of Borden, Inc. in 1996. In 2017 the company was folded into the packaging giant Berry Global.
