Ctc Media Inc

A Russian broadcasting company that runs a family of television networks, most famously CTC, with its home-and-lifestyle channel Domashny alongside it. Founded in 1989 in Delaware by American entrepreneur Peter Gerwe, it began broadcasting in St. Petersburg in 1991 and launched its flagship CTC network in 1996. The name CTC comes from the Russian initials for "Network of Television Stations," and the company was renamed CTC Media in 2004 to match its most recognizable asset.
