Medical Action Industries Inc.

A maker of single-use medical supplies for hospitals and surgery centers, from sterile procedure kits and surgical drapes to IV start trays. Founded in 1977 and based in Brentwood, New York, the company organized procedure components in the exact order caregivers use them. It was bought in 2014 by Owens & Minor, the medical distributor that had long been its largest customer.
