Atmi Inc

A supplier of high-purity gases, chemicals, and delivery systems for semiconductor chip fabrication, ATMI was founded in 1986 by five scientists who left American Cyanamid to build their own venture. Its signature sub-atmospheric gas delivery systems let chip makers safely store and handle toxic process gases without bulky high-pressure cylinders. The name spells out Advanced Technology Materials, and in 2014 the company was folded into Entegris.
