Tivity Health Inc

A wellness company whose flagship SilverSneakers program brings free gym access and fitness classes to older adults through Medicare plans. It grew out of a hospital company founded in 1981, later renamed Healthways, and rebranded as Tivity Health in 2017. SilverSneakers began in 1992 when founder Mary Swanson wanted to help her father recover from a heart attack, its name a wink at the sneaker-wearing seniors it serves.
