Air Methods Corporation
A provider of helicopter and airplane emergency medical services, Air Methods flies critically ill and injured patients to care across the United States, serving both emergency scenes and hospital-to-hospital transfers. Founder Roy Morgan mortgaged his home in 1980 to buy a single Bell Long Ranger helicopter, flew his first patient on the very first night of business, and built the operation into one of the largest air medical networks in the country.
