The holding company for First California Bank, a community lender serving California businesses and families. It started in 1979 as Camarillo Community Bank and took the First California name in 2001. Its founding board was famously eclectic — a plumber, a pharmacist, a real estate agent, and two bankers. In 2013 the bank was merged into Pacific Western Bank.
