An oilfield services company that pumped hydraulic-fracturing fluids and handled well completions, cementing, wireline, and coiled tubing for oil and gas producers across the United States. It began in 1997 as a two-person pressure pumping business in Corpus Christi, Texas, started by Josh Comstock, whose initials give the company its name. In 2015 it combined with drilling giant Nabors, and in 2019 it merged with Keane Group to become NexTier Oilfield Solutions.
