Front Yard Residential Corporation
A landlord on a grand scale: this company bought, renovated, and rented out thousands of single-family homes across the U.S. Sunbelt and Midwest. It began as a 2012 spin-off from Altisource Residential, then rebranded in 2018 as Front Yard Residential to clear up confusion with other similarly named firms and put the suburban "front yard" front and center. In 2021 it was taken private, with its homes folded into the Progress Residential rental platform.
