A Spanish-language radio and television company whose stations reach Hispanic audiences in U.S. markets from New York to Miami to Los Angeles, including its MegaTV network. It was founded in 1983 by Cuban radio pioneer Pablo Raúl Alarcón Sr., whose own network of stations on the island was seized in the Cuban Revolution, forcing his family to flee to the United States—where he and his son Raúl Alarcón Jr. grew the company into one of the largest Hispanic-controlled broadcasters in the country.
