Glatfelter Corporation
A maker of specialty papers and fiber-based materials, Glatfelter was best known as one of the world's largest suppliers of the filter papers used in tea bags and single-serve coffee pods. Founded in 1864 by Philip Henry Glatfelter, who bought a paper mill in Spring Forge, Pennsylvania (later renamed Spring Grove), the company carried his initials in its longtime name, P.H. Glatfelter Company. In November 2024 it merged with a Berry Global division to form a new firm called Magnera Corporation.
