Blackrock Corporate High Yield Fund, Inc.
A closed-end investment fund managed by asset giant BlackRock that pours most of its money into "junk bonds" — the everyday name for high-yield corporate bonds and loans that pay generous income in exchange for more risk. Launched in 2003 as "BlackRock Corporate High Yield Fund VI," it trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker HYT. Because it's a closed-end fund, it keeps a fixed pool of shares that investors buy and sell on the exchange like a stock, rather than minting new ones each day.
