Mfs Intermediate High Income Fund
A closed-end fund that invests mainly in high-income corporate bonds, floating-rate loans, and other debt to pay shareholders steady current income. It began in 1988 as the Colonial Intermediate High Income Fund, then took the MFS name in 2007 when Massachusetts Financial Services took over as its adviser. MFS is the firm that created the world's first mutual fund in 1924, so the fund carries the name of a true pioneer of everyday investing.
