Cablevision Systems Corporation

A cable television and internet provider serving the New York metro area, Cablevision Systems Corporation brought its Optimum brand of TV, phone, and broadband to millions of homes across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. It was founded in 1973 by media pioneer Charles Dolan, who had earlier launched HBO. Fun fact: the company's own network carried New York Knicks and Rangers games before ESPN even existed.
