Eaton Vance Floating-Rate Income Plus Fund
A closed-end investment fund that pools investors' money to buy senior, secured floating-rate loans—business loans whose interest rates rise and fall with market rates—so shareholders can earn income from corporate lending. It was launched in 2013 by Eaton Vance, a Boston investment firm founded in 1924 by Charles F. Eaton Jr. The fund's parent got its name from a 1979 merger between Eaton & Howard and Vance, Sanders & Company, and its trustees approved a plan to wind the fund down in 2021.
