A maker of aerospace-grade composite materials, parts, and assemblies, Park Aerospace Corp. produces prepregs, film adhesives, and lightning-strike protection used in aircraft structures and jet engines. Founded in 1954 as Park Nameplate, Inc., it began in a small garage in Woodside, Queens, in the shadow of the 59th Street Bridge, where its two founders made nameplates before the company shifted toward aerospace materials decades later.
