Blackrock Muniholdings Fund Ii, Inc.
A closed-end investment fund that bought long-term municipal bonds—the bonds issued by local states and agencies—to give shareholders income free from U.S. federal taxes. Formed in February 1999, it was one of several "MuniHoldings" funds run by the money manager BlackRock. Its shares traded on the New York Stock Exchange like a stock until March 2021, when the fund was folded into its sibling, BlackRock MuniHoldings Fund.
