Integrys Energy Group, Inc.

A diversified energy holding company based in Chicago, Integrys Energy Group supplied electricity and natural gas through familiar local utilities, including Wisconsin Public Service, Peoples Gas, and North Shore Gas. It was formed in 2007 when WPS Resources and Peoples Energy merged, choosing a name widely seen as a play on "integrity." A fun thread: one of its arms, Peoples Gas, traces back to a company chartered in 1855 that lit Chicago's streets, and the whole group was folded into WEC Energy Group in 2015.
